We have been exploring stainless steel Saraz handpans lately and are excited to the share the first few instruments that we have completed. The material is a very different animal that has pushed us to develop some new building techniques. A few inherent differences of the material include significantly longer sustain, dampening of high partial metallic frequencies, and inherent rust resistance.
