“Brooklyn’s sound artist Prana Rising brings us a fresh rendition of Game of Thrones opening theme, a tapestry woven of beautiful string and percussion instruments. Deep in a church of stone walls and stained glass, Max Kanowitz (Prana Rising) and Adam Maalouf sound their metal handpans, strings, marimba and drums to create the Game of Thrones ‘Percussion Cover’. It’s a modern twist on this fantasy story line reminiscent of medieval times, which has been sweeping the globe. Modern instruments alongside ancient ones, intermixed with sword and skull, a gothic hall, and stone dragons complete the picture. Game of Thrones composer Ramirez Djawadi will be proud of this fresh, creative rendition of the Game of Thrones opening theme by Prana Rising.”
