Spanish for “The Mermaid”, this Handpan scale name comes from Pantheon Steel. The 6 note hexatonic variation is a Dorian Mode that omits the 4th notes of the scale. Originally built in E, Pantheon Steel also later built it in F.
It is a mysterious, romantic and deeply compelling variation that has always been one of our favorites.
We have built the “La Sirena” Dorian variation in E and F. We are also eager to build it in F#.
A number of bottom note options are also available. When ordering, look under your desired center note, then “Dorian” scale variations for these layouts. You can then add additional bottom notes to your order.
