Driving and mysterious. The C adds suspense and tension. The first 8 note variation is also the “Integral” or “prodigal” scale form. Adding a low G to the bottom of the “Prodigal” is the “Equinox” scale. Without the C, this scale is a Celtic Minor. The second 8 note scale is also called “Da Xiong Diao” or “Big Bear Mode” in Mandarin. We also offer the full scale on E minor starting the 5th (B3) or in the Aeolian Mode starting on the 4th (A3). These scales play well with G Major and D Mixolydian.
If you have another variation in mind, please contact us and we will explore if it can also be built.
