Uplifting, positive, and triumphant. The hexatonic variations that leave out the 7th scale degree (A#) dance between the whimsical and dreamy quality of the major scale and the more compelling nature of a Mixolydian mode. Because of the missing 7th, these scales are very versatile and play well with C# minor, E major, F# Mixolydian, F# Dorian, and G# Minor. Also available is the full scale of B Major with the A#3 bottom note.
