Happy and uplifting with a bit of motivating and jazzy mystery. A close relative of the major scale, the mixolydian mode lowers the 7th note of the major scale by a half step (G# to G in this case). This tends to trade some of the sugar sweetness of the major scale for a more triumphant and celebratory feeling in the mixolydian mode.
