Mysterious, soothing and relaxing, this is one of the most common musical scales. Our hexatonic variation leaves out the 2nd scale degree. Starting on the relative C major as the lowest side note seems to provide a strong hint of uplifting motivation without being sugar sweet. Add the low G on the bottom for the ability to modulate into G Mixolydian for a feeling of triumphant celebration. These scales play well with C major, D dorian, and G Mixolydian.
